The Album That Became A Band

Formed in 1996, San Francisco based psychedelic rock band SubArachnoid Space had a steady career, releasing several studio albums and a handful of live performances. They released their final studio album, Eight Bells, in September, 2009.

They disbanded in August, 2010.

Members Melynda Jackson and Chris Van Huffel went on to form the band Eights Bells. Their debut, The Captain’s Daughter, was released on February 19, 2013. They released their second album, Landless, in 2016.

With a new lineup in tow, we can expect new material from the band sometime in 2021.
